GNSS.asia India organised a two-day flagship event on the 17th & 18th November 2016 at Vivanta by Taj, Bengaluru. The conference brought together leaders in GNSS enabling the audience to engage in discussion with experts during panel sessions about opportunities for business in India. The setting also provided an environment for networking, bringing Justyna Redelkiewicz from the European GNSS Agency together with local industry.
An industry tour was attached to the session on the 17th of November encompassing visits to established GNSS players like Magnasoft, the BOSCH IoT Center, Accord Software & Systems and the ISRO GAGAN Centre in the Bangalore region.

2016 Korean GNSS Society (KGS) conference

The theme of the Korean GNSS Society (KGS) conference this year has been determined to be “PNT systems - GPS interference and mitigation technologies.” In the conference countermeasures against various threats to the national PNT systems in terms of systems, policies, and technologies are discussed with experts from the industry, academia, research institutions, and the government.
23rd World Congress in Intelligent Transport Systems
As several Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) are emerging and multi-GNSS applications are rapidly gaining importance, the ITS value chain is becoming increasingly multinational. From automotive industry to public systems operators, from systems integrators to users, each ITS World Congress is devoted to attract as many experts as possible from the Intelligent Transport System field from all over the World. The importance of the evolution in the ITS industry will be highlighted by a large number of participants gathering CEO’s, Chief Engineers, EU Commissioner and EU representatives, Project Developers and many more. 10,000 participants are expected in total. GNSS.asia will be present at the exhibition to support the European GNSS industry.

The fourth edition of European Space Solutions is coming to The Hague. Taking place at the World Forum Convention Centre from 30 May to 3 June 2016, the major 5-day conference will bring together business and policy makers with users and developers of space-based solutions. Registration is free-of-charge but mandatory. The Event will explore how space makes a difference to the lives, and livelihoods, of people across Europe and around the globe. Munich Satellite Navigation Summit 2016

The Munich Satellite Navigation Summit 2016 is one of the top European industry events focussing exclusively on satellite navigation systems. GNSS.asia held a dedicated session on “Trends and experiences from the multi-GNSS hotspot East Asia” on March the 3rd to discuss how multi-GNSS opportunities are harnessed and how expertise from other world regions can be useful in this process.

At this event, the successful winner of Europe’s major innovation competitions for space applications - the European Satellite Navigation Competition (ESNC) and Copernicus Masters will be awarded. The GNSS.asia team will be present for a dedicated session on the GNSS.asia Challenge. The prizes will be presented by high-ranking representatives of both competitions. COMPUTEX is the largest ICT trade show in Asia and the second largest in the world, celebrating its 35th edition in 2015. It attracts over 130,000 visitors, including 38,000 international visitors, and 1,700+ exhibitors using over 5,000 booths. GNSS.asia works together with local partners to represent a selection of interested European GNSS companies active in fields such as IoT, RDSS, RNSS and eCall. Back-to-back with COMPUTEX, the Director-General of the Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs, Daniel Calleja, will lead a Mission for Growth to Taipei, Taiwan from 3-5 June 2015. Mr. Calleja will be accompanied by a delegation of representatives of business associations and entrepreneurs to discuss with Taiwanese entrepreneurs how to foster industrial cooperation and identify business opportunities.
